What would happen if a virulent virus was found to have its source in London? How quickly will it spread?

Many things will affect how quickly the disease will spread. These include the infection rate and how many people live in the surrounding area.

The activities in this resource place the pupils in the position of an elite group of specialists who are trying to predict and slow down the spread of the virus. They will need to report back to the government with their findings.
